Position Statement: DTA

In November of 2005, the National Health Information Center (NHIC) circulated a draft entitled "LCD For Endovascular Repair For Descending Thoracic Aneurysm (DTA) — DRAFT." In response to NHIC's open comment period, the Society forwarded a position letter to NHIC recommending the draft be amended to allow for implanting physicians to determine which patients are best suited for endovascular or open repair.
